Default Need a little help with a deck gun mod

I am pretty sure my Narwhal-class sub has a highly unrealistic rate of fire on its six inch guns as they are firing at a rate of about 1 round every 5 seconds!

Example:

This is pretty awesome to see, but I want to make it slightly more realistic.

Unlike every other deck gun, these guns also seem to traverse as fast as the AA guns.

I have Silent 3ditor, but so far nothing I mess with seems to adjust either of these attributes.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Try

Data/Library/USSubParts.

You should see several files for deck guns. Open the sim file for the deck gun, then look for a value like "cannon", open it and you should be able to adjust rate of fire and other values related to the gun. I think TMO uses 10 seconds for rate of fire.

Thanks! Found it and altered it appropriately.
