The South East in general has a lower cost of living which means an improvement in quality of life because in most places the dollar goes farther than other parts of the country.

Texas has the best economy of any state in the South East so it is no surprise that people flock to Texas for jobs.

I spent a little over a year in Texas because the Air Force calls Texas home.Basic training is in San Antonio and there a more Air Force bases in Texas than any other state.I liked Texas a lot except for those damn access roads that lead into every major road they have those in Louisiana as well.

Other states would never admit it but they are jealous of Texas.People visit Texas and they wish their state was like Texas.
