Salt your meats and hang from the pipes. Drink powdered milk. Hang your fruits and vegetables from the same pipes as the meats. Fill the head with as much hardtack and canned goods as you can. Should carry you for months. No refrigerated needed.
 We can talk about saving on water at a later time. We are talking u-boats right
