Yes, it's coming from that general direction... but I tried the tape thing and rubbed soap around the threads as well since I know I've done that before when attaching such things and neither worked. Well, even when it looked like it wasn't coming from where it screws onto the pipe, it still leaked from somewhere, the part that screws onto the pipe actually screws into the rest of the unit and it might have been coming from there. I don't know, and I'm done fooling with it for now, I've got one clean working showerhead and that's good enough until I have far fewer fish to fry.
