I still can't see how this is very arcade or shooter-like.

i played it and the steps i followed to shoot my torps are:

1.choose torpedo tube
2.asked WO to calculate the firing solution
3. clic on fire button and target sunked

i will not call this arcade-shooter game ,in case that i am missing other procedure than the above

You can do that in SH3 as well and be guaranteed a hit.

That's ridiculous. What about the fact that everything else about the game from tactical plot, limited visibility, interior systems, slow pace etc indicates sim-style gameplay? No, it must be arcade beacuse they made it accessible.

No, there is a way to use manual targeting, you got to use a program called SHOtools.
