I am looking forward to meeting the Ju-88 then... Although you have better chance of seeing a polar bear than seeing a Luftwaffe in action in this game...

Keep a lookout for the whales and dolphins also.

I should have also mentioned icebergs I suppose...you'll probably come across something when you least expect it.

Never met an iceberg either. And I was visiting Greenland in January 1941 not too long ago. Although after seeing this I might re-think my time compression usage...

The impressive things about the icebergs in SH3 is how realistic they are.

Beneath the surface, they spread out and extend very deep... So it is possible you might approach one to get a good look and find yourself colliding with subsurface ice...

Encountered 4 just a few days ago southeast of Iceland.

I came across a dolphin the other day whilst in the harbour. Must have been a friendly dolphin. I've seen icebergs during a 'Let's Play SH3' by effingcontroller whilst he was making his way to Russia. Pretty cool stuff

I wonder if that is the great great granddaughter of the one that sunk the Titanic? Not come across any yet, but knowing my luck I will probably bump into one whilst submerged and destroy my boat.

Nah, they're flagged as neutral merchants. So your Funker will still hear them as sonar contacts, even if you can't. Something I intend to fix...

Or perhaps you let Bernhard take over the hydrophones for a spell.
