I opened the start of this thread and had a bit of a shock

Man, that old lighting was pretty awful.

I'm a fairly new player, so no castles yet. I have finished a little house on a server I play on:

I love this game.

I like looking back and going through the start from time to time. Everything was new, everyone was exploring the game. Feels a bit more run of the mill nowadays.

My storage system, thanks to Applied Energistics.

The right one is the Access Terminal, which is used to access the storage and
the left one is the Drive, which can house 10 storage modules ranging from 1024
to 65536 items each.

It would only pop out the 10 storage modules. All the items are stored inside them, sort of like files stored on a portable hard drive.

Heh, it certainly makes storing stuff easy.

Though, the network needs power constantly, plus I think all of the recipes
needs either quartz dust or quartz crystals which are somewhat rare.

Dire has been starting to set up a full system on his SP Let's Play.

It's certainly a very interesting mod. I'll have to play with it at some point.

Go ahead and use it while we're there too. It's a good way for us to learn a new language, or at least the words for Cobble, Lava, Died and whatever choice expletives you choose to use...
