I keep checking back here, just in case there is some new develepments with Sh5 modding, what has struck me is that while those who have poured time and energy in to fixing up Sh5 have done a great job, there simply are not enough of them do it.
A year after Sh3 and Sh4, the respective modding comminities were buzzing with activity.
I have just not seen this for Sh5 ever, instead the sh5 modding forum seemed pretty quiet these past 3 years, with just a small handful people taking on way too much.
I applaud there efforts and accomplishments, i really do, but i think the root of problem is simply that the enthusiasm and popularity for Sh5 was just never really there. As such the appetite to mod it just never caught on.
I cant see this changing any time soon.

The main difference it´s GWX vs Mod soup.

Sh3 it´s a lot more easy to use because it´s possible use GWX as a single pack. whereas in sh5 you have to deal with 50 or more mods and put it together in the correct order. A lot more difficult for the new users and a challenge for others , with CTD and mods incompatibilities.

Not so. There are also NYGM, LSH3 and WAC.

I have to agree

maybe it was just so much of a turd on the floor when it arrived that most modders didn't feel like rebuilding the game from scratch the way they did with sh3 and sh4. I really think those with modding talent just said, nah im not interested in starting over with another huge never ending project again.

I know I have no desire to fool with it but then I have little to no time for gaming so im not playing now and I definitely have no time for modding any more and may not for a long long time if ever.
