BTW how do you use large maps tools and don't use IO Strategic Map?
have you enabled this option in OptionsEditorViewer? maybe this is reason  this option requires IO Strategic Map to be enabled too..

So no luck trying the above...
 There are no terrain folder in NewUIs i could have change...neither menu/gui/shapes... I have this blue circle playing without mods, so it comes from a mod!...but reinstalled stock mods i could have tweeked and still the issue  I think something in the game make the game "remember" previous settings i had (even after a clean SH5 reinstall BTW!). Ok, don't loose your time with it my friend, i'll have to live with it Thanks for your patience

Have you edited TDW add-on mods? These mods have folders what I suggested to look at..
