Am I really typing or did I just simulate typing?

At any rate a new speeding excuse
Officer: Do you know why i pulled you over today sir?

Driver: I am sorry officer I happen to be a simulation that exceeds the simulated speed limit breaking a simulated law.

Officer: That is interesting because I am going to simulate arresting you and taking you to a simulated jail.

Driver: I did not plan on that this simulator is very disappointing now I will have request my simulated phone call.

If you realize that you're a figment in a simulation and you retain that identity without zero summing (realizing you exist and don't exist at the same time and winking yourself out of existance, i.e. -1 + 1 = 0) can you eventually reach the point where you can alter your reality at will?

It's the basis of the theory of CHIM in the Elder Scrolls games.

If I'm a figment of my imagination, someone let me know.

For any individual, the only "reality" that exists is that individual's subjective perception of it. Whether or not it exists independently of one's own perception of it is another question, and one that may be impossible to answer.

That said - if you alter your perception of reality, you have for all practical purposes altered reality itself. This is the basic truth behind the Zen principle that when you attain enlightenment, all of creation is simultaneously enlightened. What has changed? You have, but nothing else is required.
