I once overheard a girl whining about turning 25. "I'm a quarter of a century old!" I told her to think about how that makes her mother feel.

Of course when my older daughter turned 21 I told my dad I was starting to feel the years. He said "You want to know a secret? People in their seventies really don't appreciate hearing children in their fifties whine about feeling old."
