That's just it, I do not want to see them. If I see them, it is usually too late, and death is just moments away.

Great work as always W-B

The best person to ask is probably rowi58 as he converted them to SH3 for his awesome CCoM mod.

Ok Thanks WB.

Another aircraft model from the Dagon-EON-Severen-VAA team converted to SH3 by rowi 58 - the Dornier Do18.

She was used mostly over the North Sea but was too vulnerable to fighters and was removed to training and air/sea rescue roles. She was eventually superseded by the BV138.

The models are contained in the mods, and I'm fortunate enough to get them from a number of sources - some have been found by other members who then send me a link and others are sent to me by the person who created them.

Most of the latest ones have come from rowi58's awesome CCoM mod.

A Russian aircraft for you today - the Yak-1 by VAA and Psy06.

It was the first in a large family of aircraft (over 37,000) and served across all Russian theatres of war. Expect to see her on anti-shipping patrols in the Baltic as well as in defence of Russian territory.

Another German aircraft this evening - the Dornier Do17.

Nicknamed the 'flying pencil' due to her distinctive shape, the Do17 was a fast bomber who saw success at the beginning of the war but started to show her age by the Battle of Britain. Retired from front-line service in 1942, she nevertheless served across all theatres of the war.

Some users (predominantly GWX) have been experiencing problems with the Avro Rota (they are very obvious when you check the Museum). Thanks to the advice given by machiavelli and the great S3D utility I've been able to remap the Avro Rota which seems to have got rid of the conflicts.

Anyone who has already applied the _SCR file doesn't need to reapply it - just change the Avro Rota aircraft model through JSGME.

As an aside, privateer produced the Fa-223 - is the Rota also one of yours or has someone just used your 223 as a base?

A French aircraft this time - rowi58 and Dagon-EON-Severen-VAA'a Latecoere 298. She was a new aircraft at the beginning of the war (having been introduced in 1938) and was initially used to seek out German ships before being re-roled as a ground attack aircraft during the defence of France. Following the fall of France, she continued to serve in the Mediterranean before returning to help with liberation.

Fabulous work, WB, thanks for taking the time to do all of this.

I do have a quick question regarding englishnames.cfg. I finished installing all of the aircraft last night, and everything runs fine. I've moved on to installing ships this morning, but noticed something fishy in some of the readmes. Example:

3. Open EnglishNames.cfg (C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWX\data\Air\EnglishNames.cfg)
4. Add the line GMTerror=HMS Terror

Line 3 says to add the line to the AIR englishnames file. HMS Terror is a ship, so shouldn't the line be added to the SEA englishnames file?

I will assume the line should be added in sea/englishnames.cfg, but could you please clarify? It may not even matter for all i know, but still...

You're right, it should be EnglishNames.cfg in Sea. Probably a bad cut-and-paste job

Thanks for pointing it out - I'll change it next time I upload to MediaFire.

WB,

Awesome job! I'm thinking on adding some of the ship files and maybe 1 or 2 planes, when/where should they be activated in JSGME. I'm using GWX with a few other mods.

I'm away from my desktop at the moment, but try checking out the Readme in the files.

I'd recommend only adding ships at the moment - I've got something cooking with the aircraft which will supersede the .mis files...

Ships only, aye aye. Looking at several of the readme files (all the same), it doesn't say where/when to add them. Though it seems the best place is toward the end since, they modify (so to speak) the campaign files. I think I will place them there.

Is there a combined version of this mod? I've seen references to the below and when I click on the d/l link, it goes to your file page but there are only individual .mis files.

Campaign Files for GWX Merged campaign + All Ships
Campaign Files for GWX Merged campaign + All Ships + All Aircraft

Sure would like a combined mod instead of load each individually.
