It looks to me like you would have to change under Kiel, Month2_1_0=9 to Month2_1_0=10, so it doesn't overlap with the Konigsberg end date of Month2_0_1=9. I say that because I am unsure if you can have a base start and end date both be in the same month.

Yes that was my conclusion too, I will test It.
I just hope that while being in Konigsberg in September the game will give me proper objectives (and accrding to the file It should, with the AN grid

)

It worked

To make things simpler I started (via sh3 commander) the 1st of September, and I was directly in Kiel with the 7th flotilla

(I was given the bf17 sector)

Sorry if I'm necroing this thread, but I'm having multiple messages coming in that my base was Changed to Konigsberg and then to Kiel. It keeps sending these messages multiple times per minute.

Running GWX 3.0, date is September 5 39

Thank you, I was just having this same issue, all better now.
I do have another problem that persist. when I send a report the only response I get is the date and "Radio Message From BDU To U-32" that all, no "good Job" or "Maintain Radio Silence" Shouldn't I be getting something back. when I send contact reports I get nothing back. Would be nice to hear from BDU.

Yes, I can confirm this problem as early as 2011. By testing two different campaigns starting from Koenigsberg in Flotilla 7 and moving to Flotilla 10 in 1942 and starting from Salamis in Flotilla 23 and moving to Flotilla 11 in 1943 to test type XXI.
In both cases, I received messages about moving to the base, which was my earlier port. Not necessarily the last. Sailing in flotilla 11 every time I left Bergen port I had a message about transit to La Spezia, and earlier being in flotilla 7 and then 10 I received messages about shipment to the port of Kiel - if I remember correctly. However, in the mission card the return port was set correctly, so it wasn't a big problem.
Initially, I thought that this was a problem related to starting the campaign before the beginning of the war, but in the case of the Greek campaign, there could be no such suspicion.
I think this also happened to other people, but they found it too trivial to inform anyone about it and report it as a bug.

When you send a patrol report or contacts report what messages do they send back?

Correct answers. The information about the port change comes from the GUI at patrol startup, not from reports.
