I don't know why any of this is a surprise. It is just natural selection in progress. In the past, most people needed a certain level of smarts to survive. Nowadays, thanks to the Nanny State, this is no longer required. In 20 years, I expect people to be dying from pneumonia, because they are too dumb to come in out of the rain. |
