SH3 GWX resolution

Ahoi Maties,

first let me introduce. I am Tromp, skipper from the Netherlands. I have been playing SHIII and SH IV for several years now and have often consulted this forum though never registered.

After playing SH IV I came back to III and just installed the Grey Wolves mod. Now I was wondering how I can adjust the resolution settings. I saw several posts about it already but it is still quite vague to me. I have to edit some files as far as I understand.

Oh edit: I see in the mod enabler a lot of mods available but not activated. Aren't they active on default in GWX?

The way I understand it, GWX alters many of the core game config files when it is installed. The many mods it makes available are "extra" and optional for you to decide if you want to activate.

See this download for help with changing resolution; I use it and have no issues running in 1900x1200.

Hi Tromp, welcome back to the SH 3 Forums. There are also a lot of Mods available in the SH3 Downloads section that are compatible with GXW Gold which is GWXV3 by the way, the latest version. If you want a nice Interface with more accessablility, download the OCL GUI 1.2.2 Mod and just intall the Core Files after unzipping. You will have to use JSGME to install the mod from within your SH3 folder.
