At what point during the career did you install the mods. Depending on what the mod does, you need to start it at different points. The mega mods need to start a new career. The large ones like OTC, you can start in mid career, but need to be in base to take effect.

When you do a uninstall there are saved folders found in MY DOCUMENTS. These save game folders need to be manually deleted. Then proceed with fresh install

In your first screen, you have 1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5 outside the MODS folder. I think it should be inside the MODS folder. There might be other problems, though.

TMO 2.5 needs to be in the Silent Hunter 1.5\Mods folder.
Unzip TMO to that folder. Silent Hunter 1.5\Mods\TriggerMaru_overhaul_2.5

Thank you! The TMO zip outside the MODS folder
was still there after I unzipped it into the MODS
directory. I forgor to delete the zip file, now its
done. No changes...

At no time actually. I tried to activate TMO with a clean untouched installation
of SH4 1.5. Is that wrong?

my screen capture software produces only pitch black pictures...

Yes: I know I must sound like a moron - but hey: It's the first time
I used the screen capture program...

As I said: SH4 looks the same and plays the same - with or without
TMO 'enabled'...
