I already have plenty of Radio gear from my RC car and 4x4 days, would it be possible to fit a reciever, ESC, battery etc from an RC car into a boat and just buy a motor? Obviously waterproof it too, although I have almost fully submerged my Land Rover in a river and drove it out lol.

Built her many moons ago as a kid but as a static model...needed a lot of photo-etch and actually looks pretty small on a boating lake.

I've a 1/96 (7') HMS Illustrious kit in the garage (had been stored in the loft for over 25 years) with all the fittings and running gear if you want to fly over and collect...she's yours

EDIT: I just had an amazing idea/daydream. What if....you got an R/C Destroyer or in your case, the Flower Class, and got waterproof firecrackers to use as Depth Charges somehow....and then....this other guy gets an R/C Submarine....
