I've found out that if you sink even a coastal boat, or it and a fishing boat shown as a Task force, you will have completed your patrol assignment. Sink them with the deckgun and you're all set to sneak off and get those fatter targets. And that's with OHII Full v2.
Now why a coastal boat and a fishing boat, both with no armament, are a Task Force is beyond me. But hey, they count. ![]()

hey trev...i really learned alot from your tutorial... was practicing it for quite some time...thanks for letting me know bout that... got one question tho as this seems rather wrong to me but feel free to correct me... i was monitoring this boat at long range..and as the tutorial said, i calculated its true bearing by adding both target bearing and my bearing...each was timed in a span of only 5 mins.. tihnk the ship was running away or something but have a look...unless its got supersonic engines it shouldnt be this far apart should it not?

There looks like an error with one of you drawn lines
![]() The contact was bearing - 347, 10 and 27 = 40deg from first to last. So your lines should only be 40deg apart - one line is over 90deg |
