Subsim data error,etc for downloads

hey guys.... im hoping that this will be the last post i have before getting underway...been getting aslot of help from TDW and Sober lately to get my game running...many thanks guys

so on to my issue...

seems no matter what i download from subsim..it doesnt work...just crammed to the nines with data errors, checksum erros and file curruption and now this only happens when i download from subsim and from what i gather i may be alone in this one...but funny thing is...when i download form mediafire or whatever the file works fine once extracted... but downloading from here...before i can even extract it i get one of the above errors....anyone else hving this issue or have found a cure for it?

How many downloads from subsim ? My bad LOL 23 , ok .

well man...so far ive downloaded bout 23 files and what not...and out of those i think only one has ever worked

lol yeah 23...and so far i cant get any of them to work except those that came from external links like mediafire... i cant get past the extraction portion of it it seems....everything is either data error,currupt or some other error...think someone can try and download dynamic environment and extract it and let me know if it works for you?

I have never had this kind of problems when downloading from subsim..

Maybe some system settings?. firewall, antivirus, browser settings, something else.. try to disable all these when downloading from subsim..

Neither have I, and I'm at a loss trying to figure out what might be causeing it.

yeah me to man...it really sux cause i just want to install a few mods to enjoy the game more and make it more realistic but im having such a hard time with it all...been nightmarish since i bought this game..spent 2 days just tryin to get the damn thing to work lol

are you using 7-zip to unzip the mods?

if you use winrar to unzip 7-zip files they will be corrupted and full of errors

also if you are running many downloads at the same time the data can get corrupted so it could be that

and how are you downloading exactly? are you using any programs to download or you properly following all the links and clicking through browser?

hey guys... umm i have tried winrar, winzip,7zip,zip genious...and they all just come back with errors... i just click on the downloads page and download them through the links specified ... right now ive ben working on open horizons 2, dynamic env and speech recognition but ive had no luck what so ever... it doesnt matter what mod i download from subsim...if its external like mediafire then it works and extracts fine...but if its from subsim...its a no go...errors galore and curuption up the ying yang

are you downloading at work?

i have had this in the past were firewalls at work dont stop the downloads they just currupt them.

well i disabled the security here at home...redownloaded it...extracted it with the same errors...seriously debating a reformat of my whole system as im annoyed to bits with this lol
