No, but I bet for every hour it's on there will be only twenty minutes of content, twenty minutes of recap and coming up next, and twenty minutes of comercials for Rosetta Stone and Christian Mingle.

History also has a mini-series about the Vikings coming out.
Bet the adds will be Volvo and Ikea. |

That's generally been my experience with the History Channel, Military Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, etc; 20 minutes of actual content for every 60 minutes of programing. This is why I continue to support PBS.

Now the History channel shows crap like Pawn stars and American pickers, which showcase American greed. Mind you, owned by the same company that ruined Discovery, and TLC. Yeah sure (sarcastic) I am expecting "sooooo" much from this.

Not on topic, but as there's discussion of different stuff related to documentaries,
I'll leave you with this channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/HistoryFeed Some nice docs there, really liked the "Failure is not an option" one. ![]() |
