Engine Sound Keeps Vanishing

I've had this problem too, also with constant '260m level' hull creaking even on the surface. This was the thread on it, sounds like the issues may be linked.

It normally happens when I'm on the bridge and speed up to 32x TC the engine noise stops, then when I drop down to 1x TC it stays silent. If I change engine speed it starts up again though, don't normally have to do a restart.

But no idea how to fix I'm afraid, sorry
