PAtch 1.03 on steam?

WHAt is going on...can i download patch from any other site,becose the only thing i can find on steam is just full 1.03 game for 39$ ...But i already have game and i waited for 10 days to install this new patch ( i didnt wanted to install beta version)...

So what is going on? :hmm:

If you purchased the Steam version it will automatically.

If you bought the game in RETAIL, you can download the patch from here.

Jamie's post shows being posted on 8 feb 2006 yet this is only 7 feb 2006. Also I can't find any official announcement of the new patch 1.03 being ready on subsim or on the sonalyst web site's forums.

I downloaded the new patch and it wants me to load up some other software from some other site so that I can play multiplayer games online. My McAfee VirusScan Software does not like this new software and calls it a PUP. (Potentially Unwanted Program).

Should I tell McAfee to accept this PUP or not? Confused is my middle name these days. LOL

PS I think that the forum server's time is way off. It's a day ahead of time. It's now 7:27 pm CST Feb 7th 2006 but my post shows it's 1 something am on Feb 8th 2006. No wonder I am confused. I thought it was just from old age.

It's trying to install GameSpy Arcade. I've used it before so there shouldn't be any problems with allowing it to install.

Thime is corect...here it is already 8th feb.LOL

and for the McAfee...well it is up to u..i dont know what program he trys to block..but even if u say NO to that download u stilll can get a lot of ppl for multiplayer on some other way..even here on this forum(im not expirienced with this so i just say that that program is not MUST HAVE for MP)

I told McAfee to allow the PUP for now. I installed the 1.03 patch ok. I allowed the online game program (forgot it name) to load onto my harddrive. So I should be good to go for online gaming in the future.

I had McAfee Virus Scan turned off ( turned it off from the taskbar) but evidently it was still running in memory and stepped back in and tried to stop the patch online software PUP from loading. I told McAfee to allow it to load.

I then reloaded McAfee and did a virus scan and it found about 6 programs that were installed that it considered PUPs. Right now I am going to allow them to stay on my computer by telling McAfee that they are Trusted PUPs. That way McAfee won't complain about them. I can always take these PUP's out of my trusted file and McAfee will find them again and allow me to delete them or quarantee them.

I just don't want any spyware on my system. Not sure what these game things are really far but evidently we can't play online without them. So they will stay in place for the time being.

Also thanks to all the beta testers and Jamie and the gang at Sonalyst for giving us this new 1.03 patch. You guys deserve a pat on the back.
