Thanks Sober and Volodya! I'll have a look at it in the campaign! Is this mod also compatible with 'OldStyle explosions'?

No, Vlad..
My presented/edited version is only compatible with DynEnv..
I also made a version compatible with DynEnv+Old Style Explosions and I can send it to you if you need..

Although, there is an easier way - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cdzv1mj1ug65ugc

1. Yes that was a part of my comment. And that's what was done by DDs and DEs during the war..... Atlantic theater I assume, and the Pacific theater. Reference in link below.

2.Yes, it was to protect shipping before they could be torpedoed. I'm not sure how they went about setting up smoke screens or how often they were used. PT boats used smoke screens to hide behind when fleeing the enemy, and to lay mines. If implemented in a mod for SH5, I'd say to make it a random feature.... if it's at all possible.

From a search I did on Wikipedia:

Thank you for your clarifications, GT182.

By any chance, do you know from where smoke screens were coming out? Funnels, smoke shells, dedicated devices, or...
