hey guys yeah, ran into a patrol in AL 60ish, roughly 30/40 merchants/tankers like 8 escorts and 1 bogue escort in the middle of the pack. I tried 4 times to slip in and attack to no avail the 2 forward hunt type 3's keep pinging me at night no less. Problem is the sea is super choppy 15/17 meter cross wind is making my sub pop out like " hi im here to sink you " Worst part of it all is i was chasing the convoy for 7 days had to dive like 25 times cuz 2 avengers kept coming off the bogue and looking around. But the cherry on top is the two destroyers on the sides have hedgehogs and once i get pinged they run over and hit me in the head with 40 little hammers. A truly angering assault. I even tried to fire like 6 or 7 fat's on ladder search i get like maybe one hit. Seems the captians on these merchants are professional torpedo dodgers. Well thats my middle 43' convoy assault for yall.
