Do the convoys need scripting ? I bet most of them are spawning from .RND together with escorts that are warships as well. Or am I missing something ?

The merchants - as the ships in MFM - appear randomly in campaign, without need of scripting. But the warships need scripting. I also strictly applied them and got nothing. So I dont know what else it could be. The instructions are pretty simple and straight forward. I was thinking that maybe if I try and merge them all at one time and then save them maybe that would work, instead of doing them one at a tme. What do you think Fitz or WB?

For a starter I would ask how many RAM your PC owns ?

...and the use of 4GB Patch. I (must) use it in my SH3 GWX installation in W7 64bits. Without the patch, I have CTDs with MFM.

Have you MFM? If yes, SH3 works with CTDs?.

16 gigs of RAM, Dual Nvidia 680 vid cards and yes I do have the 4gig patch .

In such case if you did everything right as you say, you shouldn't be having such problems.

Sorry - conference in the UK this week.

If you enable ships and don't use the .mis files, they should still turn up in the campaign in random convoys. Aircraft are a different matter as there are very few randomly scripted aircraft, so they are unlikely to turn up.

If you enable the ship and it appears in the museum, there's a good chance that you'll see it in game and you shouldn't get CTDs.

RL has been a little busy recently, but there's been time for a little scripting

The Macchi C.200 Saetta (Thunderbolt) was a very successful Italian aircraft which flew more operational sorties than any other Italian plane, being a peer in performance terms to the famous Supermarine Spitfire. It was heavily involved in the Mediterranean, especially the Axis attacks on Malta, so anyone who cruises in the Med may wish to enable it. I haven't been able to chase down the original author (I believe it might be VAA or Psy06 from the sukhai.ru forums, but I have no way of getting it touch with them) so it's credited to unknown author (UKA). If anyone can confirm who created it, I'd be very grateful.

Yep, just the way I was thinking of. I assume .RND has also lonely DDs patrol zones, so it might be possible that one of these new DD could spawn as well ?

Another little known aircraft, this time a German one. The Foche-Wulf Fw58 was designed as a multi-role aircraft and was pressed into service as light transport and photo reconnaissance across all areas of operation.

Two recent releases but no comments - there's a few downloads showing on MediaFire so I hope someone's enjoying the new aircraft!

Tonight's offering is one of the most famous aircraft of WW2: the North American P-51D Mustang. Trying to script her was a bitch as her role was predominantly as a bomber escort and was therefore unlikely to target submarines. I've chosen to script her as a bomber escort over France, Germany and Denmark, so look out over the North Sea and (if you dare) the Channel.
