![]() Pacifics problem was that its story was too fragmented. In BoB you almost "fell in love with" or gained a window into the soul, with the men it followed, Pacific seemed empty. Joe Bassilone is a NJ hero, to this day they hold parades to him in his hometown, he is beloved! I did not feel that vibe seeing his portrayal in the Pacific. BoB detailed the lives of men in the same unit, even if that particular episode did not feature them, you still saw the other guys, and learned more about them. Pacific seemed forced, like Stevie was taking a payday.
