Why would you need two scopes to begin with? I don't see any difference in range...

The observation scope had a much bigger head and could gather more light. Of course with the bigger head sticking up above the surface, it could raise a bigger wake, making it easier to spot. I think magnification settings were the same, but not sure off hand. Oh yeah...and Welcome Aboard! ![]()

The attack scope is finicky and getting it set to a half degree can be a frustrating experience. Once I get it set, I want to leave it alone until trigger time. Observation scope is supposedly easier for the enemy to spot so use sparingly. |
