More Convoys Tweak ?!?!

Hi there,

is there any config file we can modify to make convoys show up more often ??

I know thereÂ´s no puritanism here, so sorry hehehee

Is that iÂ´m just a bit tired of sinking lone ships - the real thrill on this game is to attack convoys.

I sometimes get lucky sitting on a convoy route - but in my last 4 or 5 patrols havent met any. . .

I think the changes must be made to campaign.rnd and to the campaign.cant-remember-it files.

There is a "spy-sat" mod out...that shows every convoy in real time...

Is that what you seek??

While most would not want to do this, myself included. Here is one way you might accomplish it.

Open your SH3, Data, Campaign folders then open the RND.mis file. It will open in Notepad.
Click "edit". then "Find" and in the little window copy and paste " RndGroup 61 "
This is the first convoy.
Change the spawn probibilty to 100% and the report probibility to 100%. Now change the 61 in the window to 62 and click "find next".
Change 62 to 100%
Go 63 and do the same until you have done #119 the last convoy.
I suggest you first make a copy of your RND.mis file before you begin to edit incase you make a mistake and place that copy in a safe folder outside the game.

Think iÂ´m going for the spy-sat mod. Its safer than edit game files !!
