Honestly, i have more fun with SH5.
I played all the series, but i prefer the Atlantic theater ambiance
Sometime, i fire SH4 modded TMO etc, but nothing like in old Atlantics U boats!

Victory flags: you could use TDW's sub flags mod. But you would have to exit from game, manually select the wanted flags (only two), reload game and savegame, etc is it easier in SHIII?

the girls and the band: there is a mod, by HanSolo IIRC, adding these features to SH5
