Steve,

Thanks for the insight into how involved your work is. I'll think carefully before altering any files!

I must say though, how impressed I am by all of the work that has gone into the mods I'm using. I bought SH3 years back and then found it almost impossible to run on my laptop. I only recently worked out how to run it on a Win7 machine so adding all the mods has been a pleasure!

Thanks for all the hard work...is what I'm trying to say!

Sailor Steve,

I agree on both rermarks say and I really admire your work.
I am looking forward to the improved MFM ship list.

I was just pointing out some solutions to the problem.

Speaking of that , I have added pennant numbers to all warships ranging from aircraft carriers to the smallest crafts , which I think adds to the realism.

Your computer, your game.I just wanted to make sure you knew what was involved. If you can figure out the problem I will be very grateful.

I understand. It just took me by surprise.

I assume you mean in the Ship Names lists, and not graphically on the actual ships in the game. Even so, that sounds pretty cool. With a couple of exceptions I've never touched the warships, sticking only to the merchants. I'd love to see what you've done.

They are also named like this in the in-game recognition manual.
That is normal. The actual ship name will not show in the recognition manual unless it is a one of a kind like the Queen Mary, and even then I'm not sure if does show the name, or just the class of ship.

Yes of course in the Ship Names lists.
Here is a small example

0002=HMS Jackal (F22)
0003=HMS Jaguar (F34)
0004=HMS Janus (F53)
0005=HMS Javelin (F61)
0006=HMS Jersey (F72)
0007=HMS Juno (F46)
0008=HMS Jupiter (F85)
0009=HMS Kandahar (F28)
0010=HMS Kashmir (F12)
0011=HMS Kelvin (F37)
0012=HMS Khartoum (F45)
0013=HMS Kimberley (F50)
0014=HMS Kingston (F64)
0015=HMS Kipling (F91)

The same is for all warships and auxiliary warships.
