Or the spitting-lama-sound in English - the "th". A constant source of endless laughs and mumblings for us foreigners! You cant teach introductory course in fifth class at a German school, without the kids rolling over each other in laughter and spitting around like idiots.



And have you ever heard what a German throat produces in strange noise when trying to pronounce one of the most alienating words I ever heared - "squirrel"?
