I did get OH2 running so it must be setup correctly with folders and stuff right?

If you see 'Open Horizons II' on the main menu, (just below Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic), then you've enabled it properly.

I agree

not to detract from New UIs, but UI-boat and, I will add, CSP Magui, are definitely the best looking UIs and definitely worth the great effort that their respective authors have put in them

On the other hand, is to be noted tha New UI's has got some cool features absent from other UI's. As you can see, you got an embarrassing wealth of good options to choose from!
