ok, found it, it was in the MENU.txt file.
changed line 4616 from: 4616=Nearest visual contact at bearing %03.Of, range %. Of %s! to 4616=Nearest visual contact at bearing %03.Of! now I only get the bearing and not the range. Its already that way in RFB. Thanks everyone.
