Forget the Dilithium crystals your boat doesn't use them, have a read of this thread http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=207791 there's a download of the file\s in the OP, study the file\s and make the adjustments you need to your own files.

underwater mass, drag, and displacement can affect your range too but when you tinker with one thing other things can be changed without realizing it like floating and sinking behavior.
what are you trying to do? if you are looking for changing battery life for one speed setting then you will distort it for the other settings. the game has limitations to what you can do and certain speeds are close to realistic while others aren't but you cant change one without changing the others and the game was designed to balance this and have the best feel to it. bottom line is you cant just change how it acts in one speed only without causing other issues |
