sound stutter could mean sound card driver problem not the game problem. I couldn't get SH5 working at all for 2 weeks this was after going back to Windows 7 64bit from windows 8. Now its working fine with only a small mod list enabled.
Before i went to win 8 and running win7 it didn't matter how large the mod list was the game ran without any ctd. This time round with a fresh install of win7 updated to sp1, video drivers etc SH5 will crash with any mods longer than what im using Try this mod list and if it works then ctd could be from any other mods you left out, i could probably add one or two more but once its too big i'll get CTD everytime now. So i stick to the small mods trying to set it up to make the game playable for my liking. ![]() |

depending on your computer, it might not be able to handle all the extra ships in the harbor. Try going with OHII base and enviro parts.

Try one at a time and start new career after adding each - just get to stage where you can take to sea before adding the next mod.
Then let us know at what stage it stopped working and we can then help ![]() |

Hi,
So i started with just OH11 only and got the same problem. I have tried the full and bases version. Any ideas? I am starting to think this might be hardware problem. I ran some stress tests the temps are: CPU: 67 GPU: 75 - xfx 6950 Temps seem to be ok, so i then thought power. I have 750w PSU which should be more than enough for my system. I have noticed that the water in the loop is very low. So this might be leading to the pump rushing and drawing on power, causing the power in increase along with the demands of GPU could be causing power outs. I have just filled the loop and will report back. |
