The one I put on tonight is 1.4 - and it runs without the disk in. I haven't added anything else to it yet - just wanted to see if it would run as when I put it on this 64bit machine couple of years back, it would not display even though the game was running ( turned out to be that I needed to reduce the resolution).

As it is already 1.4, I assume I do not need to install the 1.4b emea file ( which I eventually located) after all, so it will just be the GWX files and JSGME.
Thank you Jimbuna

Welcome back to SH3 She-Wolf! Yes you are ready for GWX, JSGME, and SH3 Commander. You will want to check out the extra compartments thread, we now have a complete type VII u-boat.

I'd forgotten the joys of creeping down the Kiel Kanal at TCx4... will put that right before I play again - but it is nice to be back.
Despite what the later games offer, they cannot beat the playability of SH3 GWX. Happy sigh, going back to the Kanal now, to dangle me feet out and go fishing for tiddlers with Bernard..

If you love the Kanal, you'll love this mod GWX 3 Wilhemshafen,St Naz,Schluese and xtra ships V7 that BBW released. Lots of eye candy in it from the LSH mod.

noted HW3, shall go and have a look, thank you Have just completed my first 'dummy run' patrol so now have the joy of the Kanal all over again as I start a new patrol in August 1939 - but I shall tweak the TC limit this time....

ps - do I need to be in base to add this mod please?

pps Is Big Boy still around? Haven't seen any posts from him for a while..

Yes you need to be in base.

I haven't noticed him here lately, Jim or Steve might know more.

A heads up on v7. The auto plot has changed, you now need to navigate through the locks before using the auto plot button. Enjoy the view!
