Well, to be fair, the Japanese in Okinawa have been trying to bring aircraft down on themselves lately...
No...seriously... http://www.japantoday.com/category/n...sprey-aircraft You can bet when the first Osprey goes into an apartment block with a kite around its prop then they'll say that it was the bad safety record of the Osprey that was at fault, not the fact that they are essentially trying to knock down US aircraft. ![]() |

The Moroccan crash was reported to be because of pilot error, not because of the plane. I don't understand why people don't trust it. it is a remarkable aircraft, that statistically crashes less or on par with traditional helicopters and planes. As for the story, it doesn't very complete. I don't think the man flew out the window of his own volition.
