So, I was bored and started building a village.

Roughly 1/3 done (not including the walls & castle)

(The wonky roof on one of the buildings is due to the renderer not recognizing the corner stair blocks atm)

Ok. So i couldnt resist asking this question.

What is minecraft, why does everybody like it, and why is it such a big deal? From what ive seen, Its just weird....

Same thing could be said with sub sims, train sims, and any other pretty much non combat game out there.

Either you like it, or you dont.

I just downloaded and played Minecraft Pocket Edition Lite....

Now I understand.

This is awesome. Can i get a CD copy of the PC game version somewhere?

It isnt the download size im disappointed by...its the price. I think it was like 26 USD. Thats a bit much for a PC game for me. I get my games on Amazon where everything I buy is dirt cheap.

It may be 26 USD, but if you view every hour you played it adding up to 1 USD, I think most of us here have played it for at least a few hundred hours and for more than 2 years now. So it's a bargain to me at that price (although I did buy it Pre Beta when it was on sale). Also the mods for it make it even more value for money.

With Eloraam being so slow, it looks like 1.4 will come out first.
