This same nonsense played out in 2008. What's your point?
I think the point is that some people are making the same ludicrous statements again and again even though they do not match facts.
Some people are silly enough to still believe the nonsense and parrot it out blindly according to their poor little victimhood complex.
Lets face it the entire topic is based on some lamebrain fantasy persecution complex

I'm inclined to believe CNN, FOX, MSNBC are opinion programs. News is secondary. Opinions is what they peddle.

I always laugh when someone tries to cite the 'Free Press' of the Founders' days. The so-called newspapers back then were exactly what you describe here: opinion papers, and news was secondary. The shows you mention were exactly what the Founders supported. They hated them, but they supported the idea.

If you watch these programs at all it is easy to see. MSNBC has this blond twit and some dude with round glass. No socks on with penny loafers. Does not bother to wear a suit. All they do is fill the screen with their opinions about "the news". FOX has two stuffed shirts in suits with a blond twit in the middle filling the screen with their opinions about "the news". CNN has much the same. I watch the local news. That's enough to turn my stomach. No need to watch the others.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Many media sources that tell you the stories they cover aren't being covered by the mainstream media, ARE the mainstream media.

Fox News crows about how they're the most watched cable news. I'd say that makes them the mainstream media. That pretty much means they can't use the old "why isn't the mainstream media covering this/saying this/reporting on this/giving attention to this" garbage.

In fairness, that's Fox & Friends. Worst of a bad bunch.

True but it is still opinion news. Is it Shepard Smith that might delivery anything of substance?

Ok, I can buy that but if just one student completes a task in my shop I don't give credit to the entire class for it.

One single right leaning main stream media outlet out of half a dozen left leaning media outlets might just give a person the idea that the mainstream media as a group are indeed ignoring stories and slanting the news to one political party over another.

who's running I had a log error on my machine just recovered and he didn't win yet, it's 1700 hrs it has to air on tv non cable network news so the average american can see it to beat me..So I got to go and blow the dust off my tv and watch a half hour of liberal network news,, I'll have it on ABC nightly news if it doesn't air I win and if they do report on it, it would be a random act of journalism,, we'll see.

Now you want to move the goalposts. Even more, you've pre-qualified the content even if it is reported. What you have done is set yourself up in a no-lose situation, a whole lot like what conspiracy theorists do to hedge their bets as insurance for when their apocalyptic predictions don't come true.
