This reminds me of a childhood thought I had.

Pardon if it rambles off topic.

But I grew up in NYC.

I always found it amazing, even to this day, how if you walk 2 blocks out of little Italy, how the faces would change from white to Chinese (Chinatown is literally blocks away)

I do not mind ethnic enclaves, just watch where you eat.

I got asked to leave a place in Chinatown because I was disturbing the customers with my whiteness. They implied my food would not be as good, and perhaps I could find another place. Though my soda was free.

That is where I learned what gwailo meant.

I went back to Mulberry street and ate at Umbertos instead.

Maybe you were one of those places if you understand my meaning. A front business I bet they had a mahjong polar and they did not like your presence for that reason.

In the US you do have alot of ethnic neighborhoods some places don't really care if you are one of their kind or not some places do. I recall once in Germany I was going to the Bad Durkheim festival with some friends and we had to wait an hour for the train to sow up that would take us there.Well we decided to have a quick drink while we waited and we went into the first bar that we see.The bar lady was fairly nice and did get us our drinks but all of the other patrons seemed slightly displeased by our presence.That is when I noticed that they all had on blue coveralls this was a Blaumänner bar in other words skilled tradesmen and they have alot more pride than american blue color workers have.We where not one of them so they did not really want us there so we drank our beers and left.

Also some cultures are just not trusting of outsiders very much a good example are polynesians and other non whites from Hawaii they can be very friendly to anyone but they tend to
not trust outsiders.I made some fairly good friends with Hawaiians in the military sometimes they have get togethers and there will be very few non natives there so if you got invited that means the person who asked you to come considers you to be a very good friend and you'll probably be the only white person there and some will consider you a manahonie(crazy person) until they find out why you are there.

Maybe they thought he was JC Denton from Deus Ex and that he wanted something from them but when Soopaman made no offer to aid the triad they asked him to leave with a soda of course.

Nothing wrong with immigrants but it's always sad and disgusting when so many are allowed in they start becoming the majority in areas.Dearborn, MI is one example. I have some persians in my class, I find them rather annoying because they smell.Not being racist but they walk by and definitely smell it, guess they don't adapt the bathing habits of the west.

I bet native Americans feel the way you do only thy have a justified reason to feel that way.

Why do you even bother to attempt to not sound racist and then you are being racist.

Give me your address I'll have all my 100% Iranian Persian and Lur relatives visit you they will bring all of their non white friends with them and plenty of good food.Maybe some Arabs from Dearborn as well.Maybe have my grandmothers(the white one as well) give you a hug you sound as if you are in dire need of one.

lol no they do not....

They fought back and were conquered.Sucks but when you lose a war and are conquered, you just have to suck it up.Ask Germany, Japan etc.Same thing, they didnt.

Sad part is the "smelly" ones I talk about probably do not deserve to be in my school, most likely affirmative action got them in bc they just don't come across as very bright, often seem confused in class etc.They obviously had to meet a certain GPA LSAT etc but would bet some non ethnic students were denied entry even though they had higher scores etc They stick together, always wonder what they are planning.
