Lets suppose this was true.

Why would they want nukes, to protect them from a neighbor who has them too?

Lets say Iran launched, it would in my opinion lead to a global thermonuclear war. As allies retaliate against each other, and China and Russia jump in simply for the excuse to nuke America. It would result in the same Mutually Assured Destruction (mad) that kept the Soviets and Americans from ripping each others heads off from the 1950s to the early 90s.

Iran is more rational than most ME countries. We only "hate" them because they talk bad about the Jews, and question if they belong there, which I do.

Do I need to be nuked or sanctioned?

Monkey man Mahmoud is a cancer, but I fear what would take his place. He at least has restraint.
