Few years ago I had mod for laying mines...
I think I still have it, somewhere on my pc. It's contact mines from tubes, and procedure was like firing torpedoes, except torpedo you "fire" mines and they stay afloat! |

If anybody solve problem with laying mines, I think that other "problem" will be results of that action.
It means that we will be unable to see result of our mine field. It is historical correct, but we all wish to know if we sunk any ships. ![]() Also, problem is in SH3 stock. We can lay mines, and if we be etc. 100 km away from field and some ship sunk on our mines, we will not get any information in the game. ![]() |

I don't think there is 100% credits or reporting on ships sunk by mines dureing WWII anyway.
As long as you complete your mission to lay them what does it really matter? Call it 'The Fog of War' and play. ![]() |

Over 1 million mines were laid off the Atlantic coast to prevent a landing by the allies. Your telling me that all ships sunk by mines were credited to the layers of those mines? You'll have to prove that to me. |

Of course its impossible to credit all ships sunk by mines, but it's pretty easy for German u-boat. There wasn't so much u-boat mine-laying mission during WW2... It is not my cup of tea, I just said it would be nice to know in SH3 Commander or SH3 patrol report, result of you minefield... ![]() |
