I voted "clean"

I was quite addicted to Diablo II, years ago, for a long time. Then I quit (mostly thanks to SHII, III and IV).

Then I fell for WoT, was there for some more than a year, but last may I said goodbye, I hope that forever.

MMOs were bad enough, but "free to play" model makes it expensive! Something they were not before. In world of tanks, paying premium (subscription) is just the first step to be competitive, then you have to keep paying other 15-20$ a month if you want to be among the top... thats a lot of money at the end of the year! So

Yeah, I found that out with LOTRO. Free to play, isn't. In the long run it actually costs you more then a flat 12-15 dollar a month subscription.

Never touched the things but there's one that might hook me in the near future, provided MechWarrior Online qualifies as a MMO... never really thought about it as such.

Never got into them myself. Heard all the complaints about kids waiting to blow you away just as you start. Never thought that would be a lot of fun.

I wouldn't say its a MMO, Only thing it has in common is the whole get in a random battle thing from what I have seen so far on the internets... or does it? OR MAYBE IT DOESN'T!... oorr... maybe I was lying... OR! maybe I was lying just then.

Or... or... maybe this whole post was a lie! AH! Everyone run lies everywhere! RUN! Run before its too late!

I never got particularly addicted to them though i did play several. More often then not I would get fed up with the grind and quit before even maxing out any characters. The only exception was SWG but that was because the game was really not about grinding levels so much, and there was a ton of player based content, particularly if you were a role-player which that game was ideal for.

I did obsessively grind out a Jedi character at one point though.

I still play MMOs i have 4 on my hdd atm, but do not play them like i use too. WoW's expansion comes out Sept 23rd. I wont be playing it no way but my son will and i know i'll be looking over to take a peak, they have buffed warriors in the expansion so i presume plenty of ex warriors will be coming back for the expansion, he gets pvp Gladiator title end of this season & they have buffed hunters too (ive played a hunter since day one of WoW, but i aint going back! The addiction is garanteed. WoW still beats MMOs because of the smooth gameplay and the spot on PVP.

Edit oh and the most important thing Blizzard have done for the pvp side for the expansion they have finally NERFED Mages. There will be a lot of tears flowing on Blizz forums from Mage players come Sept.

Aion - when i need the urge to grind my ass off for a few hours Aion is the game. Still haven't reached even 50 in this game! You can now have ground mounts (about time!) and own your own home.

Starwars online havn't load up this game for about 5months now.

Startrek online probably go in once a fornight for a couple of hrs

I wanna try World of Tanks looks fun, but haven't gotten round to it yet.

Im to busy with life and trying to play catch up with single player games.

I got the Conqueror title with my warrior on some private server. (blizzlike experience from battlegrounds). It took me around 120 days of total playing time plus smth like 60k honorable kills. A month later, they wiped the database. After that, I quited.

Have you ever wondered where the Charr get there dance from? Well its the Haka the Maori war dance. The other night i stop to go make a coffee saw some others dancing in kryta so parked my charr there and hit /dance. Came back and notice WTH the Charr do the Haka!

Notice the similarities between the two, the Haka can be performed different ways.

Charr doing the haka

New Zealand All Black rugby team performing the haka

So if you are ever doing a dynamic event in GWs and come across a Charr warrior dancing before the fight that will be kiwi_2005

This is my character from "The Secret World" which I just bought last week. Not a bad game, certainly very different from other MMOs which is obvious by the modern setting. The pic is taken in London which is the home base for the Templars faction. Other factions are Illuminati (New York) and Dragon (Seoul), for those that have not read any info about the game.

If anyone else has it or has plans to get it my character is William "Highbury" Bleddyn and I rolled on Arcadia, but you can group cross-server.
