Well I downloaded SH5 Gold from Amazon (having regrets already). In looking at Sober's Mod information one of the first threads he points to is the mod of the SH5.exe by TheDarkWraith (the unoffical 1.3 patch). TDW mentions backing up the SH5.exe so I went looking for it. Seems that when I go to play start the sim I have to use Uplay.exe which sends me to Uplay and I start the sim from there???? I thought all this DRM stuff was behind us but do I have to go through Uplay for SH5 now???

check the settings options in the uplay launcher and turn online and sync saving off .
