The USSR heavily monitored our space program if they had any way to place even the slightest shred of doubt if they had even the slightest proof that we really did not land on the moon they would have jumped all over it a told the world.They also sent probes to the moon on more than one occasion at the same time that an Apollo mission was in progress so they no doubt where not only observing the moon but also the landings if they where fake they'd have produced evidence and shown it to the world with a size 14 shoe.

Ironically, the conspiracy theorists actually use the Soviet side as support for their theories, saying that the Soviets knew all along it was impossible to go to the moon and that's why they didn't even try.
