CCIP that's just perfect, and exactly what I thought when the flags were being paraded past too. A Procession of places we used to own, a bit like on the old gameshow "Bullseye". "Now, let's take a look at what you could have been ruling!"

The only negative that initially comes to mind for me was the small, almost insignificant part the uniformed services played in the ceremony, despite the fact there were many thousands of them there out of camera shot.

Then to see smug Cameron sitting there in one of the top viewing areas looking down on those he is trying and no doubt further planning to make redundant at each and every opportunity.

Rant over...best of luck to all our fine competitors.

And once again the cheese eating surrender monkey's get top billing with the language, French first then English..What a disgrace.

Cavendish dream of a road race gold vanished...the opposition didn't do any work in the peleton more or less saying "We're not cycling to your strenghts...if you want gold your team will have to support you alone".

I just had to laugh and share. Did anyone else hear about the soccer game between North Korea and Brazil I believe? Somehow the South Korean flag got mixed up with the Norks and well.. you just know what happened after lol. I'll try and find a link before I leave for work.
