If i remember correrctly--go into your shIII folder on your C? drive----copy the exe shortcut to your desktop---it's been awhile but i think after installing GWX--it doesn't overwrite the existing desktop shortcut that was there--you have to grab it from the program folder. regards, snafu

![]() ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- great mod, ![]() I question the decision to remove the directional indicator from the map table, other ships are understandable, but your own sub should have a directional indicator, since all u have to do to get it is just zoom in - makes for excessive amount of map zooming. also the slide-out compass seems a bit overdone, it's huge... and it doesn't fit in with the new gauges etc. in the command interface, it kinda looks like a paper-cutout imo ![]() i'm not hating/trolling/trashing here, just some constructive criticism... ![]() |

There shouldn't be an indicator for direction since back then it was hand plotted. The indicator is an anachronism from more modern naval games.
And the oversized compass is necessary since it is way more accurate then the random heading you get with the stock one. |
