i had that problem as well, but found a thread that showed how you can disable the fire button in the periscope and uzi instead of changing the resolution.

Another option for WS monitor owners is to use a GUI (MaGui F being my personal favourite but several others achieve the same, albeit differently and with more/less additions) that relocates the "fire torpedo" button. The same issue still will cause problems by making the scope-mounted (range-finder/AOB-calc?) device in maGui inoperable, but this is a minor issue given the mods multiple other enhancements.
