Not sure , but you definately need the AI mod IRAI .

nope , the game is broken without irai . just line yourself up 90deg to the target and sit the scope on 0 deg . fire a torp when you think the time it will take the torp to reach the target = the time it will take the ship to reach the 0 deg mark on your scope . this way you will get to learn distances by sight and then progress to proper tdc solutions later as you progress thru the campaign .

Okay, after doing some more tests I found out you could enable TDW own destroyed icons as well, and they work for the most part. But more importantly, the ships can be destroyed, its just that they always move forward about a minute or two, as there engines still appear to function, then stop and slowly, slowly start sinking into the water.
