I also have all the Ian Fleming Bond Novels as well, I must say if you are a fan of the films you must read the original novels. It might effect your future viewing of the films, but at least the novels go into greater detail about Bond and are rarely ever repetitive unlike the films.

I started reading the books right after I first saw
Doctor No back in 1962. Because of that the movies for me get progressively worse the further they get from the novels. For me it's not the acting but the writing. As far as I'm concerned
Casino Royale was the first movie worth watching since
Goldfinger.
